A thrilling rematch of last year's final delivered a different ending as Beach Blitz were crowned champions on 2026 KwaZulu-Natal Premiers Netball Cup ,held from19-22 February at the Manguzi Multi-Purpose Centre in KwaMhlabayalingana.

In a high anticipated showdown, Beach Blitz defeated Inkosi All Stars 47-33 t claim the provincial crown. The eThekwini side showed composure, precision, and hunger to overturn last year's results and etch their name on the trophy. Inkosi All Stars from King Cetshwayo once again proved their pedigree by reaching the final, while Harrycains (Harry Gwala) and Vigilant Eagles (Zululand) completed top four after competitive semi-final clashes. Harrycains secured bronze medal and Vigilant Eagles impressed throughout the tournament winning all their pool matches and showing significant growth from last season.

The closing ceremony was graced by KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Honourable Mntomuhle Khawula , who emphasized the importance of unity and continued investment in netball development. He highlighted the significant of the tournament in preparing players to represent the province at the upcoming Telkom Netball League.

The Cllr. Mayor Khumalo of UMhlabayalingana expressed pride in hosting the prestigious event and reaffirmed the district's commitment in to supporting future editions.

The President of KZN Netball Federation, Mrs. Gugu Ngema extended heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the Premier, the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, Umkhanyakude District Municipality, aQuelle and all stakeholders who contributed to the tournament's success.
