Hoy Park Sports Complex was buzzing with energy on Sunday as teams from Section C and the Male Section lit up the court with exciting netball action. The day delivered a mix of walkovers, nail-biters, and dominant performances—serving the fans with a full menu of drama, grit, and athletic flair.

SECTION C: King Shaka Cruises, Happy Club Shines

In Section C, King Shaka came out firing from the first whistle, dominating Ocean Dolphins Females with a commanding 45–13 victory in Round 1. The power continued in Round 5 as they brushed aside ESayidi TVET College 43–20, confirming their status as early contenders.

The Ones had a mixed outing—starting strong with a 36–25 win over ESayidi, but later falling short in a thrilling 31–34 battle against Umdoni Diamonds in Round 3.

Happy Club took full advantage of a walkover against Umfolozi Panthers and later exploded in Round 3 with an eye-catching 55–31 win over Ocean Dolphins. The team showed they are not here to make up the numbers—they're here to make noise.

In another tightly contested match, Rise and Shine edged Mtuba Queens 23–21, proving that every point counts in this competitive pool.

MALE SECTION: Intensity, Upsets, and Big Statements

The male section produced edge-of-the-seat thrillers and standout individual brilliance.

In Round 2, UMtuba Central clinched a narrow 36–35 win over Ulundi Movers in what was arguably one of the closest matches of the day. Umlazi Panthers also went down fighting, losing 32–35 to a sharp Hammersdale Sunbeams side. Ziphozonke, on the other hand, were ruthless, hammering DUT 74–19—making it clear they are a force to be reckoned with.

Round 4 brought some surprises, with Ocean Dolphins taking down their rivals Ocean Predators 42–36 in an epic ocean derby. The Cheetahs also made a bold statement by overpowering King Shaka 57–32. Meanwhile, UMtuba Central edged past Umlazi Panthers again, 30–29, continuing their fine form.

Ziphozonke continued their winning streak in Round 5 with a solid 47–34 victory over Ulundi Movers, keeping their momentum alive.

Round 6 closed the day with fireworks as Ocean Dolphins delivered another blowout—this time crushing DUT 71–20. Hammersdale Sunbeams also continued to climb with a convincing 52–32 win against King Shaka.
