The highly anticipated KZN Netball Super League has officially been launched, signalling the start of another excitement packed with fierce competition ,emerging talent , and sporting excellence across KwaZulu-Natal.
The official launch took place at the Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Cricket Stadium in Durban on Thursday afternoon, where clubs, stakeholders, partners ,and members of netball community gathered to celebrate the continued growth of the sport in the province. The much-awaited season will begin on 11 April 2026 at Hoy Park, where all 42 clubs will take courts in what promises to be a thrilling opening round.
Over the years KZN Netball Super League has continued to grow from strength to strength through strong partnerships with municipalities ,institutions and sponsors committed to sports development. Host city partnership with the City of eThekwini and the City of Umhlathuze remain key pillars of the competition ,while venues such as Durban University of Technology(Steve Biko Campus) and University of KwaZulu-Natal Westville campus continued to support the league calendar.
The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture remains an important strategic partner in advancing development programmes, while aQuelle has joined as the hydration partner and sponsor of umpires kits. Gilbert continues as the leagues official ball supplier, ensuring world class match equipment throughout the season.
In a major boost for visibility and the fan engagement, Mzansi Sport Live has come on board as official broadcast partner . Supporters can can now look forward to streaming , on-demand matches and automated highlights , helping bring excitement of the league to a wider audience.
