With a full crowd behind them, the Predators lived up to their fierce name, delivering an intense performance to edge out the defending 2023 champions. The win not only secured their unbeaten streak but also pushed their final points tally to an impressive 38, crowning them as the new kings of the Males Section.
From the start of the season, Ocean Predators showed their dominance on the court, and this final clash was no different. With each pass, shot, and intercept, the Predators outplayed Ziphozonke, ensuring they finished the season in spectacular style. Their flawless performance throughout the league left no doubt—Ocean Predators truly owned the 2024 season.
Happy Hearts: Champions of Section C
The following day at Hoy Park, the spotlight shifted to the Females Section C, where Happy Hearts delivered another stunning show of skill and teamwork. Leading the table with 27 points, Happy Hearts faced off against Midlands Academy, who were close behind with 25 points. The stakes were high, but Happy Hearts came prepared, securing a decisive 50-30 victory that not only sealed their championship run but also brought their final points tally to 34.
