The club was founded by Joseph Taylor kaMhlongo, with the support of a remarkable team: Elliott Mthiya, Zipho Khumalo, the late Arthur Maseko, and Mr. TV Mkhize, the mind behind the KZN Super league. Together, they transformed male netball in the region, creating opportunities for future stars and establishing a lasting culture of excellence.

The club has faced financial difficulties, fierce competition from rival teams, and the struggle of balancing players’ academic and professional commitments. Yet, through it all, they remained focused on their mission to develop greatness.

Ocean Predators is also deeply grateful for the dedication of their coaches—Mr. Sibusiso Ntuli, Mr. Thamsanqa Masango, and Coach Busi—who work tirelessly to shape the players into champions. A special mention goes to Mrs. Linda Morrison, the team’s manager, and Miss Honey Dlamini, the General Manager, whose unwavering support has been invaluable.
